We walk and run, scamper and climb
We traverse anyway we know how.
Up straight, up-side-down, at times inside out
The way before us is now.
Go faster! Slow down! There’s rocks ahead.
Scurry around the bend,
Catch up to the chaos, then swerve right
Hang on as tight as you can.
We’re almost there. It’s within reach
We push to the end of the line.
Then reach out our hand, it slips away
An object never defined.
Ambition returns. We ready our gear
and plot the route ahead
Improved from the fall of tenuous schemes
Cautious yet bold we tread.
